Marianne Waterman has more than 20 years of experience, concentrating on surgical coding. She has extensive experience with orthopedics, including 14 years with orthopedics at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her surgical coding experience extends to neurosurgery and plastic surgery coding. Most recently, she has conducted quality assurance surgical coding reviews focused on orthopedics and neurosurgery.

Marianne is certified through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), holding a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Orthopedic Surgery Coder (COSC) credentials.

Marianne and her family reside in sunny South Carolina. She enjoys yoga, boating, and going to the beach with her family in her spare time.
